Overview
The main goal of this project is to develop experimental and theoretical approaches for studying and describing the effect of high-power pulsed terahertz radiation on the spin system of a model qubit based on a cobalt(II) ion. Experimentally, the project uses free electron laser radiation to act on the spin system of the model qubit. The theoretical model of the spin dynamics of the system under study, developed alongside, makes it possible to predict the optimal conditions for the experiments and to describe the resulting data quantitatively.
